This is a special F.O.B. for our mama-to-be, Ann. We're to come up with 8 girls names and 8 boys names. Please pardon my hippie-dippie flair :)

2. Winter (a character in a novel by M.M. Kaye)
3. Belle (I think you all know of this wonderful book-reading girl)
4. Mazzy
5. where'd I get that from?
6. Jordis (Rockstar INXS)
7. Merilee
8. Xan

1. Elias
2. Wolf
3. Matthias
4. Loki
5. Sebastian
6. Sydney
7. Lennon
8. they call me...Tim...haha!! (Monty Python reference for you there :)

This was fun to read Brooke, especially as my newest grandchild will be making an appearence any day now and a name is not certain yet. They are leaning towards Ciara for a girl and Liam for a boy ;)

My vote is for Charlotte for a girl, what do you think? hehehe

Hugs, Cary

I love Winter. I have a cousin named Summer.
Willow is one that I have liked for a long time. I like a lot of tree and plant names. Like Rowan, which now yarners would think would be for the yarn company. But, after having watched "The Wicker Man", I fear my girl Rowan would grow up to have naked orgies on a cold British isle's beach, followed by a burning sacrifice of someone.:)

I also like Loki a lot and have had that in LB's list (also Freya if he had been a girl). As well as Sebastian and Wolf.
It kind of freaks me out that you mention some of these names that I have thought of before that are not your standard names.

C'mon now, Hippie-Dippie is one of my favorite types of flair! I love these names, though I admit, I'm a bit shaky on Wolf. With our love of dogs, the poor child would develop some weird "four legs good, two legs bad" inferiority complex, I think. Still, it certainly does ring in the changes compared to oh, say "Daniel" or "Alice."
Love the similarities between yours and Ann's choices! This BAL's turned out surprisingly interesting, huh? Who'd a thunk it?!

I loved Jordis from Rockstar! I soo want to download her version of "The man who ruled the world." It was for me the most moving song of the whole show!

I got my cotton! I got my cotton! I'm doing the dishcloth cotton dance- helps if you've got a decent size backside- because I got my cotton! I love those colors.
Thank you, you generous girl, you! You're faaaabulous!

Hiya hun! Hope your wkend was good and restful. Fear not about the slacking as I seem to be rivelling you for the top spot ;) hope Eli can have a candy cane too, I think I put enough in for the whole family (Jack can consider it a belated b'day gift) OOOOOORRR you can hide them in your yarn stash and have them all for yourself! Yeay!! Loved your names by the way, none that I would have thought of but I willfrom now on, especially the girls names. I am a big hippy/boho at heart and I love Bliss as a name...too sweet! OK well have a happy Monday and keep up the lovely lists when you much fun to read :)
