Native American Summer Series

I'm happy to officially present my Native American summer series, which has slowly evolved over the past few weeks. I'll be adding a few more colorways to the collection over the summer.

Here's a sample :)

Medicine Woman (lace weight merino on top/ SW sockyarn on the bottom)

Prairie Grass

Pretty, pretty, pretty, and pretty.
As you know, the top two will be winding their way up I-95 to me!!!

Hope you're not getting hit too bad by the storm.

Oh WOW! Those are gorgeous :D Can I have some dibs on the top sock yarn too?! Or will you shout me when you put them up online? Yummy yummy yummy! You've excelled yourself there :D

BTW, I've started knitting Anastasia socks in the Alice's Garden yarn you gifted me and it look fab so far... I'll be posting pics when I have more to show, but I'm loving the colours and the way the green is super neon on its own, but lovely and muted with the other shades. You are ace :)

Those are gorgeous Brooke!!! Love the theme you've chosen. My dh would have me do a colorway called "Once a month lodge" like in Dances with Wolves - where they sent the women who were on their period. That's still one of his MANY nicknames for that time of the month. The "dreamcatcher" reminds me of the "Wampum" shells that the coastal Carolina/Virginia Indians used to trade with early settlers as money. It's shell that's a beautiful dark plum, faded to pink and then to white.

I'd like to see one called Shaman or Medicine Man. Have fun with those!!
